Today I went to the big flea-market here in town, alone because my husband was working. So, once there, I got lost after 20 minutes, since I have no sense of direction, and I lost track of where I was. Still I managed to cover a good 80% of it or at least I hope so.

This time I was more successful than a couple of weeks ago

I found this sweet looking Barbie and the fashion fever outfit (complete of dummy) for 3 euros:

I normally do not buy modern/recent barbies at flea-markets but I really loved her face, she’s perhaps the nutcracker ballerina, not sure. Here a close-up:

Then I got a Petra’s little sister (Peggy) for 50 cents, not in amazing conditions but what the heck! 50 cents:

and one Hasbro Sindy, complete with ballerina outfit and accessories, plus a nice Skipper from the ’80 for 2 euros each:

By one seller I got the nice lot below for 5 euros:

I really love the coca-cola bags and towel. I picked up two lifesavers because I think Pauli needs a proper one (the ones above are inflatable).

And then what else?

Ah…yes. Always for 5 Euros a Barbie horse from the’80, almost mint complete of box and accessories (I didn’t take pictures of these ones):

Today we went to the Netherlands (don’t get excited, we live 40 minutes away from the border) and in a “Toys R Us” over there they had a huge selection of Bratz dolls. I couldn’t believe my eyes, I would have bought all of them! I was very good and picked up “only” Aubrey (I never saw her in real life before) and a Sasha with an amazing afro hairstyle. Both the dollies come with a second outfit.

Then, back in Germany, we went for grocery shopping and at our local supermarket they had many new Fashion Fever Barbies. I really like the line from this year and so I bought a Barbie with black hair and pink highlights. She comes with no accessories at all (aside from the brush) but for ten euros you cannot expect much more.

She has huge beautiful eyes, also the mouth is pretty bigger than the latest Barbies and the outfit is really funky.

She got then very excited when she found her best friend already here (one of the Fashion Fever gals I bought last month):

In the next days I will post some pictures of my two Bratz dolls. I don’t know how it happened, I always thought I restrained myself from buying Bratz (I already collect enough dolls) but I noticed I own already by now ten of them (included the ones I bought today)…..mhhh….mhhhh…don’t you have sometimes the impression dolls sneak into your house on their own?

I went back to the toy-shop and got myself a Summer, I really love this line of Fashion Fever Barbie dolls. After I’ve got the doll I decided to play a bit around with my Paint.NET, on the left is the picture without any touch-up, on the right the one with a bit of softness added:
