We survived the move (well…more or less), my dolls are slowly being unpacked and this weekend instead of building the lounge-room furniture we went to the Barbie fair in Hamburg.
I promised myself before going not to buy anything but…well…I was never known for my self restrain and the first thing I got was a Bthay gift from my sister-in-law so it was really not my money and I wanted them for soooo long: the Louboutin shoes pack!!!
Then I behave so well till almost the end having picked up only 2 Vintage Petra in box for 7 euros each
but then…the downfall…I saw her and it was a matter of minutes till I was the proud owner of my first Fashion Royalty, what should I say?… I hope the Louboutins fit her!
If anybody is interested I have put another batch on ebay, there are some MyScene NRFB, a Bouncin’ Babie house, a Princess Ai doll by Tokyopop and a couple of Mattel vintage dolls (not Barbie).
I’m taking advantage of the move to try reshaping my collection. I anyway prefer Barbie and especially vintage ones above all. So I will keep the vintage Barbies and Sindys, some of the modern Barbies (not all) and very few pieces of furniture. If you are interested in anything you saw on my blog in the past drop me an email and I will let you know if it is something I was planning to get rid of.
Ah…forgot…I have quite few Barbie Bazaar magazines I would gladly part with. If anybody is interested they can have them for free as long as you pay for the postage and I’m afraid that coudl be high since the magazines are at least 20 or more.
I know…I know…I really shouldn’t buy dolls 2 weeks from moving but I’m getting rid of much stuff and I WILL keep my Skipper collection so they are worth getting
Sorry for the crappy pictures, they have been taken on the fly
So…we are finally starting decluttering due to the upcoming move. I decided I need to drastically reduce my dolls collection. I will give some items away to friends and charity shops but other ones are ending up on ebay. Here is the first batch:
Just surfing around while waiting for my bread to be ready and I saw this amazing videos made for an ad campaign last year (found via If It’s Hip, It’s here). Unfortunately my bread will be ready before I watch all of them (I just finished watching the first one) but I thought I NEEDED to share in case you never saw them:
This is a first picture of the Monsters High doll I got from my sister-in-law as Xmas gift. The outfit is handmade and I got a a second one for Frankie.
They are gorgeous dolls, I love this line. The second gift mentioned in the title is the one I gave myself today : a new digital camera

The prices at the moment are still pretty low but there are still 6 days to go. If you are interested in checking it out jump here.
