I didn’t find any LPS that really inspired me for a while but then in the last week I saw so many cute ones around! I really had to restrain myself, I was very good and bought only 4 Included a mouse! I cannot believe that! ( I have “rats-fobia”,  well…actually all rodents…brrr…).

Well…it looks like the decision has been made. I anyway cannot have even the posts unless I’m going through all of them and resave them one by one, something I’m not goingto do. So…I think I will start to look for a new template and consider whether I really want to keep the blog at all. If I do though it will be  a new start

So…this is what is left of my blog After the server went down and the backup was f***ed I lost all my images, my widgets, my template. I’m seriously considering erasing everything and start from scratch. What is the point to have  the posts without the images? Most of them will not make any sense at all.

What are your thoughts on the matters? Should I go back to a blank slate? Or leave the ruins there?

I just watched the trailer for the Walt Disney movie “Tangled” (aka Rapunzel). I have to admit it is not what I expected. I know you cannot judge a movie from the trailer…but still…from what leaked in the previous months through blogs and forums I was expecting something more “poetic”…mhhh…I think I will wait for the DVD to go on sale. If you didn’t see it, here it is:

By the way, here is an interesting article about Mattel toys that will be or  by now have been produced for “Tangle”, “Toy Story 3″ and “Cars”. It looks like not only they will put on the shelves Rapunzel dolls after the movie but even a Tower playset!

I really loved the videos but I’m wondering why can’t we have also Barbie videos?Pleaseeeee Pixar….Pleaseee…

I’ve been watching quite few videos recently and this is one them: Alma. I’m still not sure whether I like it or not. The drawings are so cheerful and “cartoonish” but the story is pretty creepy, actually horror (at least for me).

What do you think? Do you like it?

…with Akvis Artwork. I’m in my software-junkie mood and here are some of my experiments with the trial of Akvis. You can apply a “oil paint”, “cartoon” or “Pen and Ink” filter to your pictures. The program is extremely easy to use, I’m not so sure about the results for the moment

but not so much the oil painting effect:

and definitely not the Ink and pen:

On the other side the software has a quite a range of settings you can play around with (including the thickness of the strokes just to mention one) so most probably I was just too lazy to try a bit harder and I should have a good look into them.

Finally we are having some warm days and today we enjoyed the sun. My husband  and I went together with my sister-in-law for a nice day out, here some pictures:
